    SEE ALSO...

SLA Antibody (EP-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b antibody that detects SLA protein of human origin by immunofluorescence (IF) and immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP). Anti-SLA antibody (EP-2) is available as a non-conjugated format, specifically designed to identify soluble liver antigens that are crucial for understanding liver-related diseases. SLA (EP-2) antibody plays a significant role in studying immune responses, particularly in autoimmune liver diseases, serving as a biomarker for conditions such as autoimmune hepatitis and primary biliary cholangitis. SLA autoantibodies show notably increased presence in patients infected with hepatitis C virus, highlighting importance in both diagnostic and therapeutic contexts. SLA protein primarily localizes in human hepatocytes, which are essential for various metabolic processes, including detoxification and protein synthesis. Understanding SLA protein localization provides insights into liver pathology and mechanisms underlying liver diseases. Using anti-SLA antibody (EP-2) in research can yield valuable information about liver function and immune system interaction with liver antigens, ultimately contributing to advancement of liver disease diagnostics and treatments.
