Six4 Antibody (D-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Six4 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Six4 antibody (D-5) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Six4, also known as sine oculis homeobox homolog 4 or AREC3, is a 760 amino acid nuclear protein that plays a crucial role in myogenesis and neurogenesis, as well as the development of various organs. Six4 belongs to the Six/Sine oculis homeobox family, which is characterized by a conserved DNA-binding domain that allows these transcription factors to regulate gene expression during development. Six4 contains a single Six domain, which serves as a homeobox DNA-binding motif, and exhibits approximately 90% sequence similarity with its mouse counterpart, indicating that both proteins likely share similar DNA-binding properties. Proper functioning of Six4 is essential for normal developmental processes, and dysregulation has been implicated in various developmental disorders, making Six4 a significant target for research in developmental biology and related fields.

To eliminate any potential cross-reactivity of an anti-mouse secondary detection reagent,we recommend using a directly conjugated primary antibody.
