SI-CLP Antibody (A-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects SI-CLP of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). SI-CLP (A-1) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. SI-CLP, also known as stabilin-1 interacting chitinase-like or CHID1, is a 393 amino acid secreted protein that plays a crucial role in immune response and tissue homeostasis by modulating inflammation and tissue repair processes. SI-CLP belongs to the glycosyl hydrolase 18 family and is primarily localized to lysosomes in cells of monocytic, T, B, and epithelial origin, where SI-CLP participates in the degradation of glycosaminoglycans and other complex carbohydrates. SI-CLP interaction with STAB1 suggests a functional role in endocytic pathways and cellular signaling, making SI-CLP an important target for studies related to immune regulation and potential therapeutic interventions.
