    SFRS16 Antibody (E-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects SFRS16 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). SFRS16 (E-7) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. SFRS16, also known as splicing factor, arginine/serine-rich 16, plays a crucial role in pre-mRNA splicing regulation, essential for accurate gene expression. Located primarily in the nucleus, SFRS16 recognizes splice sites and modulates alternative splicing, processes vital for generating protein diversity and regulating gene expression in response to cellular signals. SFRS16 shows high expression in the brain, where SFRS16 influences CLK1 mRNA splicing, impacting neuronal function. SFRS16 exists in two alternatively spliced isoforms and undergoes post-translational modifications, including phosphorylation by CLK4, which regulates activity and interactions with other splicing factors. SFRS16 interacts with other serine/arginine-rich splicing factors, such as SC35 and SF2/ASF, highlighting SFRS16′s significance in splicing machinery and potential as a target for studying splicing-related disorders.
