SEE ALSO...

Septin 1 Antibody (H-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Septin 1 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Septin 1 antibody (H-10) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Septin 1 is a member of the septin family of GTPase enzymes, which are crucial for various cellular processes, including cytokinesis and exocytosis. Septin 1′s ability to form heteropolymer complexes is vital for maintaining cellular organization and facilitating new growth in organisms. Notably, Septin 1 interacts with other septins, such as Septin 2 and Septin 4, which are implicated in the formation of neurofibrillary tangles associated with neurodegenerative diseases. The complex transcriptional regulation of septins leads to the generation of alternatively spliced variants, further diversifying their functional roles. Septin 1′s involvement in the assembly of septin filaments highlights its importance in cellular architecture and signaling pathways, making it a significant target for research in cell biology and neurobiology.
