SEE ALSO...

SENP6 Antibody (79-M) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects SENP6 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). SENP6 (79-M) antibody is available as the non-conjugated anti-SENP6 monoclonal isotype antibody. SENP6 plays a crucial role in regulating SUMO (small ubiquitin-related modifier) pathways, which are essential for various cellular functions, including transcriptional regulation, DNA repair, and cellular signaling. SENP6 localizes in the cytoplasm and participates in releasing SUMO-1 from conjugated forms, thereby influencing sumoylation and desumoylation processes. This activity affects the stability and function of target proteins, including those involved in reproductive processes, as SENP6 expression shows higher levels in reproductive organs. Through modulation of SUMO-conjugated protein levels, SENP6 impacts critical cellular functions and pathways, making SENP6 significant in cellular homeostasis and reproductive biology.

Can sc-100585: SENP6 (79-M) monoclonal antibody be used to stain formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue sections?

Asked by: DefinitelyNotMatt
Thank you for your question. Yes, sc-100585: SENP6 (79-M) is recommended for use in IHC with paraffin-embedded sections. We recommend performing antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6) and heat. The full protocol can be found here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/immunoperoxidase-staining

Hi, Would it be possible to get a free trial sample size of this Antibody? I'd like to ensure the antibody works for platelet lysate before purchasing a full size product. Many thanks

Asked by: SarahR
Thank you for your question. We do not normally offer samples sizes of this SENP6 antibody. We have not tested the antibody on human platelet lysate and do not have any data regarding SENP6 expression in this sample. Please contact our Technical Service Department to inquire about the possibility of receiving a free sample size of this antibody. Please call our European Support office toll-free at 00800 4573 8000, email europe@scbt.com, or contact us by live chat.
