SEMA6B Antibody (G-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects SEMA6B protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-SEMA6B antibody (G-7) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. SEMA6B protein, also known as Semaphorin-6B or SEMA Z, is a single-pass type-I transmembrane protein predominantly expressed in the adult brain and heart, where SEMA6B plays a crucial role in neural development. SEMA6B features a proline-rich cytoplasmic domain that contains binding sites for SH3 domains, which are important for protein-protein interactions. SEMA6B functions primarily as a repellent for sympathetic ganglion axons, inhibiting neurite outgrowth through interaction with receptor plexin-A4.
