Sds22 Antibody (B-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects Sds22 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-Sds22 antibody (B-6) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Sds22, also known as PPP1R7 (protein phosphatase 1, regulatory (inhibitor) subunit 7), plays a crucial role in regulating protein phosphatase 1 (PP1) activity, which is essential for numerous cellular processes such as cell division, homeostasis, and apoptosis. Located primarily in the nucleus, Sds22 consists of 360 amino acids and features ten leucine-rich repeats, which are important for protein-protein interactions and stability. Sds22′s ability to modulate PP1 holoenzyme activity, a trimeric complex composed of a regulatory subunit, a variable subunit, and a catalytic subunit, highlights its significance in cellular signaling pathways. Multiple isoforms of Sds22 exist due to alternative splicing events, suggesting a complex regulatory mechanism that may allow for tissue-specific functions and responses to various cellular stimuli.
