    SEE ALSO...

SATL1 Antibody (E-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects SATL1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). SATL1 (E-8) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. SATL1, or spermine N(1)-acetyltransferase-like protein 1, is a 508 amino acid protein characterized by one N-acetyltransferase domain, which is crucial for enzymatic function in polyamine acetylation. This post-translational modification regulates polyamine levels within cells, impacting cellular growth, differentiation, and apoptosis. SATL1 gene is conserved across several species, including chimpanzees, dogs, and cows, and is located on human chromosome Xq21.1, a region associated with various genetic conditions. SATL1 presence in different tissues suggests a potential role in diverse biological processes, making SATL1 an important target for research in developmental biology and disease mechanisms.
