SART-1 Antibody (E-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects SART-1 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). SART-1, also known as squamous cell carcinoma antigen recognized by T cells, Ara1, HOMS1, or Snu66, plays a crucial role in mRNA splicing and cell proliferation, making SART-1 significant in various biological processes. SART-1 is primarily localized in the nucleus of proliferating cells, where SART-1 is involved in the regulation of gene expression and cell cycle progression. Notably, SART-1 undergoes post-transcriptional modifications that yield two distinct isoforms: SART-1(800), the native transcript, and SART-1(259), which is expressed in the cytosol of epithelial cancers. SART-1(259) serves as a tumor-rejection antigen capable of inducing cytotoxic T lymphocytes in cancer patients, highlighting SART-1′s potential in immunotherapy strategies. Additionally, variations in SART-1 may contribute to atopy, a condition characterized by allergic hypersensitivity, including eczema, asthma, and allergic conjunctivitis. With diverse roles and implications in cancer and allergy, anti-SART-1 antibody (E-2) serves as an invaluable tool for researchers exploring these critical areas of study.
