SAPK4 Antibody (20) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects SAPK4 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and immunofluorescence (IF). SAPK4, also known as p38δ, is a member of the mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) family and plays a crucial role in cellular responses to stress and cytokines. SAPK4 is primarily located in the cytoplasm, where activation occurs in response to various stress signals, including inflammatory cytokines and environmental stressors. SAPK4′s localization enables rapid signaling cascades that can lead to important cellular outcomes, such as apoptosis, differentiation, and inflammation. SAPK4 interacts with several key proteins, including MKK6, which phosphorylates and activates SAPK4, allowing regulation of downstream targets involved in stress responses. The unique phosphorylation sequence of SAPK4, which includes a TGY motif, distinguishes SAPK4 from other MAPK family members and highlights a specialized role in cellular signaling pathways. Anti-SAPK4 antibody (20) is an essential tool for researchers studying the intricate mechanisms of stress signaling and the functional implications of SAPK4 in various biological contexts.

I am using SAPK4 (20): sc-136063 for immunofluorescence, what dilution of this antibody should I use?

Asked by: Dr Ninau Qelp
Thank you for your question. We recommend a starting dilution of 1:50. However, optimal antibody concentration should be determined by titration. Please find our full immunofluorescence protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/immunofluorescence-cell-staining
