    SEE ALSO...

RyR-1 Antibody (8.U.100) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects RyR-1 in mouse, rat, rabbit, and canine samples through western blotting (WB) and immunoprecipitation (IP) applications. RyR-1, a member of the ryanodine receptor family, plays a crucial role in calcium signaling within muscle cells, specifically in the excitation-contraction coupling process. Located primarily in the sarcoplasmic reticulum of skeletal muscle, RyR-1 is responsible for the release of calcium ions in response to membrane depolarization, which is essential for muscle contraction. The proper functioning of RyR-1 is vital, as any mutations in its gene can lead to severe muscle disorders such as Brody disease, malignant hyperthermia, cardiomyopathy, and central core disease. Anti-RyR-1 antibody (8.U.100) enables researchers to effectively study the expression and regulation of RyR-1, contributing to a better understanding of muscle physiology and the pathophysiology of related diseases.
