    SEE ALSO...

RWDD1 Antibody (C-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects RWDD1 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). RWDD1 (C-8) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. RWDD1, also known as CGI-24 or PTD013, consists of 243 amino acids and belongs to the RWDD1/GIR2 family, characterized by its RWD domain at the N-terminal region. RWDD1 plays a crucial role in cellular processes by interacting with DRG2 (developmentally regulated GTP binding protein 2), which is essential for cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. The protective interaction between RWDD1 and DRG2 prevents DRG2 from undergoing proteolytic degradation, maintaining functional levels within the cytoplasm. RWDD1 is encoded on human chromosome 6, a region comprising nearly 6% of the human genome and associated with various health conditions, including early onset intestinal cancer and other genetic disorders. Understanding RWDD1 and its interactions is vital for uncovering the underlying mechanisms of these diseases and may provide insights into potential therapeutic targets.
