RUNX3 Antibody (B-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects RUNX3 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). RUNX3 is a crucial member of the Runt-related transcription factor family, which plays a significant role in regulating gene expression related to cellular differentiation and cell cycle progression. RUNX3 is predominantly expressed in hematopoietic cells, including myeloid and B-cell lines, as well as in the spleen, highlighting RUNX3′s importance in the immune system. RUNX3 is involved in the growth and differentiation of gastric epithelial cells, positioning RUNX3 as a potential tumor suppressor in gastric cancer. RUNX3′s function is particularly critical because hypermethylation of the RUNX3 gene can lead to inactivation, which has been associated with the development of gastric cancer. Detection of hypermethylation within the RUNX3 CpG island can serve as a valuable biomarker for diagnosing gastric cancer and assessing patient risk, making anti-RUNX3 antibody (B-9) an essential tool for researchers studying cancer biology and epigenetic regulation.
