RTEL1 Antibody (H-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects RTEL1 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). RTEL1 (H-5) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. RTEL1 protein, known as regulator of telomere elongation helicase 1, is a crucial 1,400 amino acid nuclear protein that plays a significant role in maintaining chromosome stability and regulating telomere elongation. RTEL1 contains a helicase ATP-binding domain and is part of the helicase family of DNA-binding proteins. In humans, RTEL1 is predominantly expressed in the kidney and intestine, functioning as an ATP-dependent helicase that is essential for proper chromosome function and genomic stability. RTEL1 gene is located on chromosome 20, within a gene-rich cluster that may harbor several tumor-related genes, indicating a potential involvement in tumorigenesis. Notably, RTEL1 undergoes alternative splicing, resulting in multiple isoforms that may have distinct regulatory roles in cellular processes.
