RSPRY1 Antibody (C-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects RSPRY1 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-RSPRY1 antibody (C-8) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. RSPRY1, which consists of 576 amino acids, features a RING-type zinc finger motif and a B30.2/SPRY domain, playing a crucial role in the ubiquitination pathway, which is essential for protein degradation and cellular regulation. RSPRY1 is secreted and exists in two alternatively spliced isoforms, and is encoded by a gene located on human chromosome 16q13, a region associated with several genetic disorders, including giant axonal neuropathy and Rubinstein-Taybi syndrome. The presence of the RING-type zinc finger motif, which can bind two zinc atoms, is significant as this motif is commonly found in various viral and eukaryotic proteins, indicating involvement in critical cellular processes.
