SEE ALSO...

RPA 32 kDa subunit Antibody (9H8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects RPA 32 kDa subunit protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). RPA 32 kDa subunit (9H8) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. RPA 32 kDa subunit is a critical component of the replication protein A (RPA) complex, which is essential for DNA replication, recombination, and repair in eukaryotic cells. RPA 32 kDa subunit binds to single-stranded DNA in the nucleus, stabilizing DNA and preventing secondary structures that could impede replication and repair processes. Nuclear localization of RPA 32 kDa subunit allows efficient access to DNA during critical cellular processes, ensuring genomic stability and integrity. RPA 32 kDa subunit interacts with various proteins involved in DNA repair, including UNG2, XPA, and Rad52, coordinating cellular response to DNA damage. Specific binding of RPA 32 kDa subunit to the SH2 domain of Stat3 suggests involvement in signaling pathways that regulate cell growth and survival, making RPA 32 kDa subunit significant in both DNA maintenance and cellular signaling.

I am using the LiCor/Odyssey system. Which secondary antibody do you recommend using with RPA 32 kDa subunit Antibody (9H8): sc-56770?

Asked by: jenniferc
We recommend using one of our our exclusive Mouse IgG Binding Proteins (m-IgGκ) conjugated to CFL 680 or CFL 790. They are suitable for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) detection systems, such as LI-COR/Odyssey and other comparable systems. A complete list of available binding proteins is available on our website here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/browse/support-products-mouse-igg-binding-proteins/_/N-ecrety
