RNH1 Antibody (G-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects RNH1 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). RNH1, known as the placental ribonuclease inhibitor, is a crucial 460-amino acid protein characterized by a high content of leucine and cysteine residues, which contributes to structural stability and functional versatility. RNH1 plays a vital role in regulating mRNA turnover by binding to various intracellular and extracellular ribonucleases, effectively keeping them in a latent form. Notably, RNH1 also inhibits angiogenesis by reversibly binding to angiogenin, a member of the RNase A superfamily, which is essential for tumor growth and metastasis. By modulating angiogenesis, RNH1 may have significant implications in cancer gene therapy, making RNH1 a valuable target for therapeutic interventions. Anti-RNH1 antibody (G-1) is an essential tool for researchers investigating the intricate roles of ribonuclease inhibitors in cellular processes and their potential impact on cancer biology.
