RNH1 Antibody (F-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a antibody that detects RNH1 in mouse, rat, and human samples through various applications including western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). RNH1, known as the placental ribonuclease inhibitor, is an acidic protein composed of 460 amino acids, characterized by a notably high content of leucine and cysteine residues. RNH1 plays a crucial role in cellular processes by binding to a wide range of ribonucleases, effectively keeping them in a latent state and thus regulating mRNA turnover. RNH1 inhibits angiogenesis by reversibly binding to angiogenin, a member of the RNase A superfamily, highlighting its significance in cancer biology, as angiogenesis is essential for tumor growth and metastasis. By modulating the activity of RNases, RNH1 not only contributes to the maintenance of RNA stability but also presents potential therapeutic implications in cancer gene therapy, making anti-RNH1 antibody (F-5) an invaluable tool for researchers studying these critical biological processes.
