RNF167 Antibody (E-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects RNF167 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). RNF167 (E-9) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. RNF167, also known as RING finger protein 167 or RING105, features a RING-type zinc finger domain and a protease-associated domain, which are crucial for functioning as an E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase. RNF167 is primarily localized to the endomembrane system of cytoplasmic membranes and is strongly expressed in the kidney and liver, where RNF167 plays a significant role in regulating protein degradation and cellular processes. The presence of the RING-type zinc finger motif allows RNF167 to facilitate protein-protein and protein-DNA interactions, which are essential for various cellular functions, including growth regulation during the G1/S transition of the cell cycle. By accepting ubiquitin from specific E2 enzymes and transferring ubiquitin to substrates such as ORCTL2, RNF167 is integral to maintaining cellular homeostasis and responding to stress signals, making RNF167 a vital component in the regulation of numerous biological pathways.
