RNF126 Antibody (C-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects RNF126 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-RNF126 antibody (C-1) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates, providing versatility for different experimental needs. RNF126, also known as RING finger protein 126, plays a crucial role in cellular processes through its RING-type zinc finger domain, which is essential for mediating protein-protein and protein-DNA interactions. This domain allows RNF126 to function as an E3 ubiquitin ligase, facilitating the ubiquitination of target proteins, a process vital for regulating protein degradation and cellular signaling pathways. RNF126 interacts with TRAF6, a key player in immune response signaling, and BAT3, which is involved in apoptosis regulation. A conserved cysteine-rich domain that binds zinc ions underscores RNF126′s structural integrity for functional roles. RNF126 shares significant amino acid identity with ZNF364, another E3 ligase implicated in human breast cancer, suggesting potential overlapping functions and pathways. Alternative splicing of RNF126 results in two isoforms, highlighting RNF126′s complexity and regulatory potential in various biological contexts.

Can the TransCruz reagent sc-376005 X,be used for Western Blot and other applications, or is it exclusively for use in GelShift and ChIP?

Asked by: TinTin
The TransCruz form of this antibody, sc-376005 X, can be used in applications such as Western Blot or IF/IHC, the recommended dilution factor just needs to be scaled up by 10 due to the increased concentration of the vial.
