Rho GAP p190-B Antibody (G-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects Rho GAP p190-B of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-Rho GAP p190-B antibody (G-11) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Rho GAP p190-B, also known as ARHGAP5, plays a crucial role in negatively regulating Rho GTPases by promoting bound GTP hydrolysis, which is essential for controlling cellular processes such as migration and cytoskeletal dynamics. Rho GAP p190-B is primarily located in the cytoplasm, where Rho GAP p190-B exhibits a diffuse distribution and forms fibrillar patterns that co-localize with the alpha5/beta1 integrin receptor in various cell types, including normal human foreskin fibroblasts and RD muscle cells. Rho GAP p190-B interaction with transmembrane plexin receptors is vital for mediating semaphorin signaling to the actin cytoskeleton, thereby guiding cell migration and axon extension. Plexin activation leads to integrin-based focal adhesion disassembly and subsequent actin cytoskeleton remodeling, which inhibits cell migration. Rho GAP p190-B dephosphorylation by SHP-2 enhances RhoA activation in myoblasts, indicating that myogenesis is influenced by SHP-2 activity on the Rho GAP p190/RhoA signaling pathway.
