SEE ALSO...

Rho A Antibody (26C4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Rho A of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and flow cytometry (FCM). Rho A (26C4) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Rho A plays a crucial role in regulating the actin cytoskeleton, which is essential for various cellular processes such as cell shape, motility, and division. Proper function of Rho A is vital for maintaining cellular integrity and facilitating communication between cells, particularly in response to external signals. Dysregulation of Rho A has been implicated in numerous diseases, including cancer, where altered signaling pathways can lead to increased cell migration and invasion. Understanding the interactions and regulatory mechanisms of Rho A is therefore critical for developing targeted therapies in oncology and other fields. Rho A, along with its family members, is characterized by a carboxy-terminal CAAX motif that is essential for post-translational modification and membrane localization, further underscoring the importance of Rho A in cellular dynamics and signaling pathways.

Hello, Could you tell me please if I can use Rho A Antibody (26C4): sc-418 with Opal 4-color IHC Kit (PerkinElmer), please? Secondly, is this antibody/sc-418 labelled/conjugates with any fluorophore? Many thanks. Kind regards, Sami

Asked by: Mamand
Thank you for your question. We have not specifically tested this antibody using the Opal 4-color IHC Kit from Perkin Elmer, however, based on their website unlabeled antibodies may be selected based on antibody performance. For more information, we suggest you inquire with that vendor. This mouse monoclonal, Rho A (26C4): sc-418, has been validated for IHC on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue sections so it is suitable for this research application. We do provide this primary antibody directly conjugated to HRP (sc-418 HRP), as well as several fluorophores, including: phycoerythrin (sc-418 PE), fluorescein (sc-418 FITC), Alexa Fluor® 488 (sc-418 AF488), Alexa Fluor® 647 (sc-418 AF647), TRITC (sc-418 TRITC) or Alexa Fluor® 405 (sc-418 AF405).
