Rheb Antibody (B-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects Rheb protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-Rheb antibody (B-12) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Rheb protein plays a crucial role in cellular signaling pathways, particularly in the regulation of mTOR (mechanistic target of rapamycin), which is essential for cell growth, proliferation, and survival. Through mTOR activation, Rheb influences various cellular processes, including protein synthesis and autophagy, making Rheb a significant player in cancer biology and metabolic disorders. Dysregulation of Rheb and associated signaling pathways can lead to uncontrolled cell growth and tumorigenesis, highlighting Rheb′s importance in cancer research. Rheb also interacts with other proteins in the Ras family, such as Raf-1, which further underscores Rheb′s role in critical signaling cascades. Understanding Rheb function and interactions remains vital for developing targeted therapies in oncology and metabolic diseases.
