SEE ALSO...

RGS5 Antibody (B-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects RGS5 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). RGS5 (B-4) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. RGS5 plays a crucial role in regulating G-protein signaling pathways, which are essential for various physiological processes, including cell growth, differentiation, and response to external stimuli. RGS5 localizes in vascular endothelial cells, where RGS5 modulates capillary morphogenesis and angiogenesis. This localization highlights RGS5′s potential role in vascular development and implications in diseases such as stroke, where abnormal angiogenesis can contribute to pathophysiological conditions. By shortening activated G protein lifespan, RGS5 helps maintain signaling pathway balance, making RGS5 a vital component in vascular function regulation and a promising therapeutic target.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-514184 P appropriate for?

Asked by: Randy McDonald
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
