RGS13 Antibody (G-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects RGS13 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). RGS13 (G-7) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. RGS13, a member of the regulators of G protein signaling family, plays a crucial role in modulating G protein signaling pathways, particularly in the immune system and lung tissues. RGS13 is primarily localized in membrane and nuclear fractions, with significant expression in tonsil, thymus, lymph nodes, lungs, and spleen, where RGS13 is predominantly found in resting CD19-positive B cells. Notably, RGS13 lacks recognizable domains beyond the RGS box, which sets RGS13 apart from other RGS proteins. RGS13′s ability to inhibit G protein subtypes such as Gαq and Gαi, as well as RGS13′s influence on cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP) generation, suggests that RGS13 is integral to fine-tuning specific G protein-dependent signaling pathways, thereby impacting immune responses and lung function.
