Rev-erbα Antibody (RS-14) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Rev-erbα in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Rev-erbα antibody (RS-14) is offered in a non-conjugated form, allowing for versatile experimental use. Rev-erbα, an orphan nuclear receptor, plays a crucial role in regulating circadian rhythms and metabolic processes by acting as a transcriptional repressor. Rev-erbα (RS-14) antibody recognizes the protein primarily in the nucleus, where Rev-erbα binds to specific DNA sequences to modulate gene expression. Rev-erbα′s nuclear localization enables direct influence on the transcription of genes involved in the circadian clock and energy homeostasis, thereby impacting physiological processes such as sleep-wake cycles and metabolism.
