SEE ALSO...

Rev-erbα Antibody (E-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Rev-erbα protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Rev-erbα (E-12) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Rev-erbα, also known as Nuclear Receptor Subfamily 1 Group D Member 1, plays a crucial role in regulating circadian rhythms and metabolic processes by acting as a transcriptional repressor. Rev-erbα is primarily located in the nucleus, where Rev-erbα binds to specific DNA sequences to modulate gene expression. Nuclear localization enables Rev-erbα to interact with other nuclear proteins and transcription factors, thereby influencing the expression of genes involved in circadian rhythm regulation and lipid metabolism. Rev-erbα interacts with co-activator NCOA5, which enhances transcriptional activity, highlighting Rev-erbα′s importance in the intricate network of gene regulation. Both Rev-erbα and Rev-erbβ are integral to maintaining homeostasis within the body, making these proteins significant targets for research in metabolic disorders and circadian rhythm-related diseases.
