RecQL4 Antibody (B-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgM kappa antibody that detects RecQL4 in mouse, rat, and human samples through western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). RecQL4 plays a crucial role in maintaining genomic stability, particularly during DNA replication and repair processes, which is vital for preventing genomic instability that can lead to various diseases, including cancer. RecQL4 is primarily located in the nucleus, where RecQL4 participates in the unwinding of DNA, a necessary step for replication and repair. Proper functioning of RecQL4 is essential, as mutations or dysregulation of this helicase can result in conditions such as Rothmund-Thomson syndrome, characterized by developmental defects and increased cancer susceptibility. Anti-RecQL4 antibody (B-3) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates, providing versatility for different experimental needs. The gene encoding human RecQL4 is located on chromosome 8q24.3, and RecQL4 expression is differentially regulated in response to cellular stress, highlighting RecQL4′s importance in cellular responses to DNA damage.
