RECA-1 Antibody (HIS52) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects RECA-1 in mouse and rat samples through immunofluorescence (IF) applications. RECA-1, also known as rat endothelial cell antigen-1, is a critical cell surface antigen expressed by all rat endothelial cells, playing a vital role in the vascular system. RECA-1 is primarily located on the surface of endothelial cells, which line the interior of blood vessels, forming a crucial interface between circulating blood and the vessel wall. This localization allows RECA-1 to participate in various physiological processes, including the regulation of vascular permeability and the modulation of immune responses. By facilitating the interaction between endothelial cells and circulating leukocytes, RECA-1 is essential for maintaining vascular homeostasis and responding to inflammatory stimuli. Anti-RECA-1 antibody (HIS52) serves as an invaluable tool for researchers studying vascular biology, endothelial function, and related pathologies, providing insights into conditions such as atherosclerosis and other vascular diseases.
