    SEE ALSO...

RCBTB1 Antibody (G-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects RCBTB1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). RCBTB1 (G-2) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. RCBTB1 protein, also known as regulator of chromosome condensation (RCC1) and BTB (POZ) domain containing protein 1, is a 531 amino acid protein that plays a crucial role in cell cycle regulation through chromatin remodeling. RCBTB1 is primarily localized in the nucleus and contains two BTB (POZ) domains and six RCC1 repeats, which are essential for function in transcriptional regulation and chromatin structure control. These domains suggest RCBTB1 may interact with specific proteins involved in chromatin dynamics, thereby influencing gene expression and cellular proliferation. RCBTB1 gene is located on human chromosome 13, a region often deleted in B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia, indicating potential role in tumor suppression. Widespread expression of RCBTB1 across various tissues underscores importance in maintaining cellular homeostasis and regulating cell cycle, making anti-RCBTB1 antibody (G-2) a valuable tool for researchers studying these critical biological processes.

I am using the LiCor/Odyssey system. Which secondary antibody do you recommend using with RCBTB1 (G-2): sc-377341?

    Asked by: Randy McDonald
We recommend using one of our our exclusive Mouse IgG Binding Proteins conjugated to CFL 680 or CFL 790. They are suitable for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) detection systems, such as LI-COR/Odyssey and other comparable systems. A complete list of available binding proteins is available on our website here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/browse/support-products-mouse-igg-binding-proteins/_/N-ecrety
