RBM3 Antibody (A-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 kappa light chain antibody that detects RBM3 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). RBM3 (A-7) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. RBM3, also known as RNA binding motif (RNP1, RRM) protein 3 or RNPL, is a 157 amino acid protein characterized by the presence of one RNA recognition motif (RRM) domain and undergoes post-translational dimethylation, which can influence stability and function. RBM3 plays a crucial role in cellular responses to stress, particularly during cold shock and low oxygen conditions, and functions as a proto-oncogene, potentially contributing to tumor transformation and metastasis. RBM3 gene is located on the X chromosome, which is significant not only for its role in sex determination but also for its association with various genetic disorders when abnormalities occur in sex chromosome number or structure.
