RBM27 Antibody (H-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects RBM27 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). RBM27 (H-9) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. RBM27, which consists of 1,060 amino acids, features a C3H1-type zinc finger and an RNA recognition motif (RRM) domain, playing a crucial role in RNA binding and regulation of gene expression. RBM27 is primarily located in the nucleus, specifically within nuclear speckles and near the nuclear periphery, as well as in cytoplasmic structures known as cytospeckles, which are essential for RNA storage and processing. RBM27′s localization suggests a role in regulating alternative splicing and modulating apoptosis, processes vital for maintaining cellular homeostasis and responding to stress. RBM27 is highly conserved across various species, including chimpanzee, dog, cow, mouse, rat, chicken, and zebrafish, and is mapped to human chromosome 5p15.33, highlighting evolutionary importance and potential as a target for further research in gene regulation and disease mechanisms.
