RBCK1 Antibody (H-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects RBCK1 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-RBCK1 antibody (H-1) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. RBCK1, also known as RBCC protein interacting with PKC 1, is a member of the RING-IBR protein family and features a unique RING-B-Box-Coiled-Coil (RBCC) structure, crucial for functioning as a transcription factor. This structure enables RBCK1 to interact with various proteins, including β-I-type protein kinase C (PRKCB1) and Z-type protein kinase C (PRKCZ), as well as the ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme UBE2L3. RBCK1′s ability to form homodimers in vitro enhances transcriptional and DNA-binding activities, distinguishing RBCK1 from other RBCC family members. RBCK1 shuttles between the cytoplasm and nucleus, possessing nuclear export and localization signals within its amino acid sequence, which is vital for regulatory functions in cellular processes. RBCK1 may act as an E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase, facilitating ubiquitin transfer from E2 ubiquitin-conjugating enzymes to target substrates, playing a significant role in protein degradation and cellular signaling pathways.
