Ran Antibody (ARAN1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b antibody that detects Ran in mouse, rat, human, Xenopus, and bovine samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and immunofluorescence (IF). Anti-Ran antibody (ARAN1) plays a crucial role in understanding Ran function, a small Ras-related GTPase primarily localized in the nucleus. Ran is essential for various cellular processes, including nucleocytoplasmic transport regulation, DNA replication, and mitotic event orchestration. Ran function maintains cellular homeostasis by ensuring efficient RNA and protein transport across the nuclear pore complex, influencing gene expression and cell cycle progression. Disruptions in Ran activity can lead to significant cellular dysfunction and are implicated in various diseases, including cancer.
