    SEE ALSO...

Rag A Antibody (D-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Rag A in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Rag A Antibody (D-1) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates, providing versatility for different experimental needs. Rag A, also known as Rraga or FIP-1, is a 313 amino acid protein located in the cytoplasm and nucleus, belonging to the GTR/RAG GTP-binding protein family. Rag A localization plays a significant role in regulating cellular processes, particularly in transporting proteins from the endoplasmic reticulum to the Golgi apparatus and secretory vesicles, which is essential for maintaining cellular homeostasis and function. Rag A is involved in the RCC1/Ran-GTPase pathway and may directly influence tumor necrosis factor alpha signaling, which is important for cell death induction. Rag A exhibits guanine nucleotide-binding activity but has undetectable intrinsic GTPase activity, highlighting unique functional characteristics within the cellular signaling landscape.
