SEE ALSO...

Rad54B Antibody (19-K2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Rad54B protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Rad54B antibody (19-K2) is available as a non-conjugated format. Rad54B (19-K2) antibody recognizes a protein crucial in the DNA double-strand break repair (DSBR) pathway, essential for maintaining genomic stability and preventing cell death, mutations, or neoplastic transformations. Rad54B monoclonal antibody (19-K2) targets a member of the RAD52 family, which includes Rad50, Rad51, and MRE11, all working together to facilitate homologous recombination and repair damaged DNA. Rad54B (19-K2) antibody detects a protein that exhibits ATPase activity with double-stranded DNA, vital for promoting homologous DNA pairing and stimulating recombination processes. Rad54B (19-K2) monoclonal antibody recognizes a protein predominantly expressed in testis and spleen, where mutations in RAD54B have been implicated in various cancers, including primary lymphoma and colon cancer. Anti-Rad54B antibody (19-K2) identifies a protein that interacts with Rad51, critical for DNA damage repair and influenced by BRCA1 and BRCA2, highlighting their interconnected roles in cellular response to DNA damage.

I am using Rad54B (19-K2): sc-101234 for immunofluorescence, what dilution of this antibody should I use?

Asked by: AbPolly
Thank you for your question. We recommend a starting dilution of 1:50. However, optimal antibody concentration should be determined by titration. Please find our full immunofluorescence protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/immunofluorescence-cell-staining
