SEE ALSO...

Rad51C Antibody (2H11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody developed against the human Rad51C protein. Rad51C, also called R51H3 and Rad51l2a, is a pivotal component of the homologous recombination pathway responsible for repairing DNA double-strand breaks within the nucleus. The nuclear localization of Rad51C is crucial for maintaining genomic stability, preventing mutations, and thwarting neoplastic transformations, thereby underscoring its importance in cellular defense against DNA damage. Rad51C monoclonal antibody (2H11) reliably detects Rad51C proteins from mouse, rat, and human origins through western blotting (WB) and immunoprecipitation (IP), while demonstrating no cross-reactivity with other members of the Rad51 family such as Rad51B, Rad51D, Rad51, XRCC2, or XRCC3. Available in both non-conjugated form and various conjugated forms including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® variants, anti-Rad51C antibody (2H11) offers versatile applications for diverse research needs. Rad51C (2H11) antibody facilitates the investigation of DNA repair mechanisms, cell cycle regulation, and the molecular foundations of genomic integrity in proliferating cells, making this reagent an invaluable tool for researchers focused on cancer biology, genetic stability, and cellular responses to DNA damage.
