Rab 2A Antibody (H-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects Rab 2A protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-Rab 2A antibody (H-5) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Rab 2A protein, a member of the Ras-related GTPase superfamily, plays a crucial role in intracellular transport processes, particularly in the movement of proteins from the endoplasmic reticulum to the Golgi apparatus. This transport is essential for proper functioning of cellular processes, ensuring proteins are correctly modified and sorted for specific roles within the cell. Rab 2A is specifically lipid-anchored to the membrane of the ER-Golgi intermediate compartment, which is vital for facilitating transport of newly synthesized proteins.
