Rab11A Antibody (A-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody raised against amino acids 130-216 of human Rab11A, detecting the protein in mouse, rat, and human origins via western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA); anti-Rab11A antibody (A-6) also reacts with additional species including equine, canine, bovine, and porcine. Rab11A, also known as Ras-related protein Rab-11A or RAB11, is a member of the Rab family of small GTPases that regulate intracellular vesicle trafficking, particularly in the recycling endosome pathway. Post-translationally modified by prenylation through geranylgeranylation at C-terminal cysteine residues, Rab11A requires this lipid modification for proper membrane association and function in vesicle formation, movement, and fusion.
