    SEE ALSO...

QPCTL Antibody (B-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects QPCTL protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-QPCTL antibody (B-3) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. QPCTL (B-3) antibody targets glutaminyl-peptide cyclotransferase-like protein, a 382 amino acid single-pass membrane protein that plays a crucial role in the post-translational modification of peptides, specifically in the cyclization of glutaminyl residues. This function influences the bioactivity and stability of neuropeptides and other signaling molecules, thereby impacting various physiological processes such as neurotransmission and immune responses. QPCTL monoclonal antibody (B-3) recognizes a protein encoded by a gene highly conserved across multiple species, including chimpanzees, dogs, cows, mice, rats, zebrafish, and several yeast species, located on human chromosome 19q13.32, a region known for its high gene density and association with various genetic disorders. QPCTL′s ability to bind one zinc ion per subunit further underscores its importance in maintaining structural integrity and enzymatic activity, making QPCTL (B-3) monoclonal antibody an essential tool for researchers studying functional dynamics in different biological contexts.
