Datasheets
  • PTPε Antibody (G-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 provided at 200 µg/ml
  • specific for an epitope mapping between amino acids 678-699 at the C-terminus of PTPε of human origin
  • recommended for detection of PTPε and, to a lesser extent, PTPα of mouse, rat and human origin by WB, IP, IF and ELISA
  • At present, we have not yet completed the identification of the preferred secondary detection reagent(s) for PTPε Antibody (G-2). This work is in progress.

PTPε Antibody (G-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 antibody that detects PTPε in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-PTPε antibody (G-2) is available in a non-conjugated form, allowing for versatile experimental use. Protein tyrosine phosphatases (PTPs) like PTPε are crucial for regulating various cellular processes, including cell growth, differentiation, and signaling pathways. PTPε is primarily located in the cell membrane, where PTPε plays a significant role in modulating receptor tyrosine kinase signaling, which is essential for proper cellular communication and response to external stimuli. PTPε localization at the membrane allows direct interaction with various signaling molecules, thereby influencing pathways that govern cell proliferation and survival. PTPε dysregulation has been implicated in several diseases, including cancer, making PTPε a vital target for therapeutic intervention and research. Understanding PTPε function and location is important for elucidating PTPε role in cellular signaling and potential as a biomarker or therapeutic target in various pathologies.
