PSR Antibody (D-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects PSR in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-PSR antibody (D-4) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The phosphatidylserine receptor (PSR) plays a crucial role in the recognition and clearance of apoptotic cells, as PSR specifically binds to phosphatidylserine, which becomes exposed on the outer membrane of cells undergoing apoptosis. This interaction is vital for the phagocytosis of dying cells by immune cells such as macrophages and dendritic cells, thereby maintaining tissue homeostasis and preventing inflammation.
