PSMD7 Antibody (F-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects PSMD7 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). PSMD7 (F-2) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. PSMD7, also known as proteasome (prosome, macropain) 26S subunit, non-ATPase 7, plays a crucial role in regulating the 26S proteasome, a complex essential for selective degradation of ubiquitinated proteins, which maintains cellular homeostasis and regulates various cellular processes. PSMD7 is integral to the proteolytic core of the 26S proteasome, consisting of a 20S core particle and two 19S regulatory particles that recognize and unfold ubiquitinated substrates. A proteolytically resistant MPN domain in PSMD7 contributes to structural integrity and functionality of the proteasome complex. PSMD7 interacts with HIV-1 Vpr, linking PSMD7 to G2/M phase transition of the mammalian cell cycle, highlighting PSMD7′s importance in both cellular regulation and viral pathogenesis.
