PSMB4 Antibody (H-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects PSMB4 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). PSMB4 (H-3) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. PSMB4 protein, also known as HN3, PROS26, or macropain β chain, is a critical β subunit of the 20S Proteasome, which plays a vital role in the selective degradation of cellular proteins. This process is essential for maintaining cellular homeostasis, regulating the cell cycle, and modulating various signaling pathways. The 20S Proteasome is composed of a cylindrical core made up of four stacked rings, with the outer two rings consisting of seven α subunits and the inner two rings containing seven β subunits, including PSMB4. Proper functioning of the proteasome ensures that damaged or misfolded proteins are efficiently removed from cells, preventing potential toxic accumulation and contributing to overall organism health. Anti-PSMB4 antibody (H-3) serves as a valuable tool for researchers studying proteasome function and its implications in various diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders.
