    SEE ALSO...

PRPSAP2 Antibody (A-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects PRPSAP2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). PRPSAP2 Antibody (A-1) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. PRPSAP2, also known as phosphoribosyl pyrophosphate synthetase-associated protein 2, is a 369 amino acid protein that plays a crucial role in the regulation of nucleotide synthesis by interacting with the catalytic subunits of phosphoribosylpyrophosphate synthetase, PRPS1 and PRPS2. This interaction is vital for the formation of phosphoribosylpyrophosphate, an essential substrate for the synthesis of purine and pyrimidine nucleotides, as well as amino acids like histidine and tryptophan. Proper functioning of PRPSAP2 is important for maintaining cellular metabolism and energy balance, as disruptions in nucleotide synthesis can lead to various metabolic disorders. PRPSAP2 is ubiquitously expressed, indicating its fundamental role in cellular processes across different tissues.
