PRPSAP1 Antibody (A-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects PRPSAP1 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). PRPSAP1 (A-9) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. PRPSAP1, also known as phosphoribosyl pyrophosphate synthetase-associated protein 1 or PAP39, is a 356 amino acid protein that plays a crucial role in nucleotide metabolism by modulating phosphoribosylpyrophosphate synthetase (PRS) activity, which is essential for purine and pyrimidine nucleotides synthesis, as well as histidine, tryptophan, and NAD production. Located in the cytoplasm, PRPSAP1 interacts with catalytic subunits PRPS1 and PRPS2, forming a complex that regulates phosphoribosylpyrophosphate production, a key substrate in nucleotide biosynthesis. PRPSAP1 regulation is vital, as PRPSAP1 can influence cellular proliferation and metabolism, making PRPSAP1 an important target for studies related to cancer and metabolic disorders. The gene encoding PRPSAP1 is located on human chromosome 17q25.1, highlighting PRPSAP1′s evolutionary conservation and significance across species.

I am using the LiCor/Odyssey system. Which secondary antibody do you recommend using with PRPSAP1 (A-9): sc-398422?

Asked by: Professor Griffin
We recommend using one of our our exclusive Mouse IgG Binding Proteins conjugated to CFL 680 or CFL 790. They are suitable for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) detection systems, such as LI-COR/Odyssey and other comparable systems. A complete list of available binding proteins is available on our website here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/browse/support-products-mouse-igg-binding-proteins/_/N-ecrety
