PRAT4A Antibody (F-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects PRAT4A protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). PRAT4A (F-6) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. PRAT4A protein, also known as CAG4A or TNRC5, plays a crucial role in regulating Toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4) expression on the cell surface, which is essential for the immune system′s ability to recognize and respond to microbial threats. TLR4 is a key player in the innate immune response, specifically in detecting lipopolysaccharide (LPS), a potent endotoxin that triggers immune activation in cells such as macrophages and dendritic cells. The interaction between PRAT4A and TLR4 is vital, as PRAT4A facilitates proper localization and expression of TLR4 on the cell surface, thereby enhancing the immune response to pathogens. PRAT4A is a 278 amino acid protein that exists in two isoforms due to alternative splicing, highlighting complexity and potential regulatory roles in immune signaling pathways.
