PRAM-1 Antibody (D-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects PRAM-1 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). PRAM-1 (D-11) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. PRAM-1, encoded by the retinoic acid-induced gene, plays a crucial role in normal human myelopoiesis and is involved in the regulation of hematopoietic processes. Specifically, PRAM-1 functions as an adaptor protein that interacts with several signaling molecules, facilitating the transduction of signals necessary for cell differentiation and proliferation. PRAM-1 expression is notably modulated during the development of acute promyelocytic leukemia, where the PML-RAR-α fusion protein inhibits PRAM-1 expression, thereby impacting the normal differentiation of myeloid cells. The 718 amino acid structure of PRAM-1 features eight N-terminal proline-rich repeats and specific proline residues that form type I and type II SH3 recognition motifs, which are essential for protein interactions. PRAM-1 is predominantly expressed in hematopoietic tissues and lung, highlighting its importance in both normal physiology and disease states.
