PPIL4 Antibody (73K-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects PPIL4 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-PPIL4 antibody (73K-7) is available as the non-conjugated form. PPIL4, also known as peptidylprolyl isomerase (cyclophilin)-like 4 or HDCME13P, is a 492 amino acid protein that plays a crucial role in protein folding and cellular function. PPIL4 is a member of the cyclophilin-type peptidylprolyl isomerase family, which catalyzes the isomerization of proline residues in polypeptides, facilitating proper protein conformation. This function maintains cellular homeostasis and regulates various biological processes, including signal transduction and stress responses. PPIL4 is predominantly expressed in the kidney and localizes in the nucleus, containing a PPIase cyclophilin-type domain, a lysine-rich domain, and an RNA recognition motif (RRM) domain. The presence of the RRM domain suggests PPIL4 may also participate in RNA processing and transcriptional regulation, highlighting its significance in gene expression and cellular regulation.
